ROKiT Phones and Warrior Foundation Freedom Station Team Up on “ROKiT For Veterans”

ROKiT Phones Will Gift an Unlocked Feature Phone to a Veteran with Every Purchase of a ROKiT Smartphone from Veterans Day Weekend Through December 31

SAN DIEGO and LOS ANGELES, Calif. – November 6, 2019 – ROKiT Phones, creators of the glasses-free 3D smartphones, and Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, a nonprofit organization, are working together to provide cell phones to ill and injured service members via ROKiT For Veterans. For every ROKiT smartphone purchased between Veteran’s Day weekend and December 31, 2019, ROKiT will donate a ROKiT unlocked feature phone to a veteran. This will enable communication with loved ones, prospective employers, and access to a MD through the ROKiT Medical –Telemedicine app.

Each ROKiT feature phone gifted to a veteran will come with three months of the telemedicine app, giving them the opportunity to talk to a doctor from anywhere, as well as discounted prescription services. Our ROKiT smartphones are also pre-loaded with other vital life services including,  roadside assistance, family legal services, and identity theft insurance available at low monthly rates. Every ROKiT phone is fully unlocked, so veterans can shop for the best value from any GSM carrier of their choice.

“Our company prides itself on working with other brands and organizations who share a similar vision at creating a better, more connected world for one another. We believe it is our responsibility to lend support to important charitable organizations, which is why last year we also gave away 500 phones to veterans,” said Jonathan Kendrick, co-founder of ROKiT phones. “Warrior Foundation Freedom Station works hard to achieve a noble goal at helping our veterans transition to civilian life, and we are proud to continue to demonstrate our commitment to those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice through the gift of phones.”

“We really appreciate the philanthropic spirit of companies like ROKiT Phones who want to improve the lives of our ill and injured warriors this Veterans Day,” said Greg Martin, president, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel. “Cell phones are a vital resource, and thanks to ROKiT Phones generosity, we can now make them available to the veterans who need them the most during recovery, rehabilitation and the transition to civilian life.”

Since 2004, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station has been a leading force in assisting the military men and women who have bravely served our country. The foundation provides injured warriors with items that enhance quality of life, including ultralight custom wheelchairs, modified combat boots that accommodate prosthetic limbs, iPads with specialized applications for post-traumatic stress, and more. The ROKiT for Veterans program will provide an important communications tool for warriors who otherwise might not have access to a cell phone, so they can keep track of medical appointments, job opportunities, and more.
